You
got bored from silly popup's annoying you while you are browsing
the net.
So you have made the right decision by using Kill The Popup
.
From now on and as long as you are running the Kill The Popup,
no more popups will annoy you.
When the program starts it automatically minimized to the system
tray.

To show the program window, just double click the tray
icon or right
click it & then choose Show (Hide) Kill The Popup
from the menu. |

The
Program main window contains 4 Tabs:

Pop up & Ads |
| 1.1
Enable Catch Pop-Ups |
This
option is to set the program aware of your current status
so that it can protect you from annoying popups.
When you put the check mark, the program is in its active
state, if you uncheck it you are not protected against
popups.
Some browsers
may require to close them before changing the status.
If you change the status while the browsers are opened
this may cause no effect.
When you want to allow popups, it is better to uncheck
this option rather than exiting the whole program.

Enable Banner Blocking
|
| If
you want to prevent banners from appearance while
you surf the net you just have to check this option.
Changing the status of the Ad Blocker will take
effect when you restart your browsers (i.e. If there
is an opened browser it will not sense the change
in the status unless you close it and then open
it again). |

1.3 Notify Me with Sound Alert |
|
| You
can choose this option only with the Catch
Pop-ups automatically mode. It causes a sound
to be played when a new popup has been caught. |

Active X |
Here
you can manage ActiveX controls that may be downloaded
into your computer while you are surfing the net.
There are four zones that you can manage: the internet,
local intranet, trusted sites & restricted
sites.
If
you don't have the IE installed onto your computer or
you have it with some corrupted values you will get
an error message.

Options |
3.1
Startup Mode
You
have 3 modes to choose from for starting up the program :
|
4Windows
Startup:
This allows the program to start
each time Windows has been started.
|
4Manual
Start:
This allows you to run the program manually (NOT RECOMMENDED)
|
4IE
Startup:
The program will run automatically when you launch the
IE.
It will also close automatically when the IE is closed.
|
3.2
Language
Here
you can change the language of your interface.
3.3 Sound Options
4Change
Sound Alert
You have the option to change the sound alert after a new popup
is caught. By selecting the sound from the combobox. Also if
you don't want one of the installed sounds you can choose your
custom sound file by choosing Custom Sound from the combo box.
Currently used shows the current used wav file, "Default.wav"
means that you are using the default wav file.
NOTE: You will be able to use this option only if you
enable the Notify Me With Sound Alert option in the Popup &
Ads page. |

General Options

On Top
If you checked the Always On Top option the window
of the program will remain on top of all windows even the
active window you are using.
4Close
To Tray
If you would like that the program is
minimized to tray when you press the close button so check
this option.

Kill The Popup:
This menu item allows you to show/hide the
window.

4Enable(Disable)
Kill The Popup:
Allows you to enable or disable the program
exactly like the option in the main window.

4Block
Ads :
Allows you to block or allow the ads blocker exactly like
the option in the main window.
NOTE: This works only
with IE.

4Show
Popup Count window:
Causes
the window that shows the number of caught popups to appear
at the right bottom side of your window. See
Popup
Window.

4.1
Popup Window |
This
is a small window that appears at the right bottom
side of your window in case of initially starting
the program or when a new popup is caught.
The number of popups is counted simply from the
date of installation. To reset this counter just
click the Clear button. |

4.2
Exit the program |
When
you press the ok, cancel, apply or even the close button
on the top right side of the program window, the program
will be minimized not closed.
To exit the program you should right click on the system
tray & choose Exit from the menu.
But note that when you exit the program you will not be
able to surf the net.
So if you want to allow popups to appear in your pc, just
disable the program but don't close it.
